Värmdö Cultural Worker Scholarship 2025
Many thanks to Värmdö Municipality for awarding me the 2025 Cultural Worker Scholarship. The award was presented in a ceremony in connection with the National Day celebration.
”The Värmdö Municipality Cultural Worker Scholarship in 2025 is awarded to the designer and artist Johanna Grahn Hollström to further explore and create spatial designs in the field of ceramic art with inspiration from the unique nature of Värmdö’s archipelago landscape.”

Commissioned work for RDc
On behalf of the Regional Donation Center, Stockholm-Gotland, I had the honor of creating a gift in the form of a ceramic heart, to be distributed to the relatives of people who donated organs or tissue in recent years. The ceremony and commemoration took place in Storkyrkan, Stockholm, on November 5.
The heart is based on RDc's symbol and has a shape and size that fits in the palm of one’s hand. On the surface, I have striven for it to feel like looking at a starry sky, where light and darkness meet and reflect hope, comforting and a small piece of eternity.
A sincere thank you to everyone involved and for the existence of such an important function in society.

The Archive - design exhibition
Thrilled to see my seedpod sculptures at The Archive - the beautiful interiour exhibition at the Old National Archive. The exhibition were showing new works from Ariake, Le Klint lighting, 1616/Arita and Friends & Founders. Curated by Hanna Nova Beatrice, styling by Annaleena Laino and art scouting by Cecilia Tivar.
